Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Expect us to handle returns, exchanges and repairs as politely and quickly as possible. Certain conditions required by the manufacturers and the law may limit our options.

New Purchases

-Keep All Packaging including: box, warranty cards, instruction books and any other items included in “like new” condition.

-Do not fill out warranty cards until you are satisfied the equipment is in good working order.

-After testing your equipment, fill out and send in the manufacturers portion of the warranty cards within 30 days. Once you have filled out the cards you can not return the item for full credit or refund. Keep your portion (and any marked "dealer") along with your receipt in a safe place. You will need them for warranty repairs.

-Once you get home, if you realize that you have accidentally purchased the 'wrong' item please call the store immediately so that we can be prepared to exchange it for the 'right' item as quickly and with as little hassle as possible.

Returns and Exchanges

We will gladly return or exchange your purchase within 14 days under the following guidelines: All items must be in new and unused condition with complete packaging and with a valid receipt. Any incomplete or blemished product will incur a restocking fee or be deemed un-returnable depending on it's condition. Returns & Exchanges beyond 14 days will be handled at the discretion of the management.

Exclusions

We cannot accept any returns on sensitized materials, this includes, but is not limited to; film, darkroom paper, chemicals, batteries, inks, and any other product that has an expiration date. Unfortunately sensitized materials are 'sensitive' to numerous conditions that may alter the product or rend it unusable. Therefore once it has left our control, we cannot in good conscience take back and resell sensitized materials that may have been stored unsafely. This is a blanket policy to simply ensure that the products we sell (and that you purchase from us) are always maintained at the highest possible quality standards.

Warranty Repairs

If you have a problem with your equipment Looking Glass Photo will send it to the manufacturer for you. We will need your receipt and warranty paperwork. Should you misplace your receipt, Looking Glass Photo may be able to reissue it, as long as the information still exists in our computer system. If you did not purchase the equipment at Looking Glass, we may still be able to handle your repair (please contact the store for current details regarding your specific situation). If the manufacturer detects any indication of moisture, dirt, shock, misuse or other problems not detected when left off for repairs they will void the warranty. While the manufacturers do not make any accommodations for loaners, Looking Glass may be able to arrange low cost/NC rentals.
If you have any questions about these policies, please contact us for more information.
