Gear, Lenses, and Filters are discussed before breaking into ideas such as capturing details, long exposure, times to shoot, subject matter, and getting creative. Self-assignments are entertaining, challenging, and critical to building photographic vision. This class will give you the tools you need to awaken that photographic vision you possess. A few self-assignment challenges will be set forth to help you get started on your own long-term self-assignment while giving you some great ideas on short-term self-assignments. Enter the world of the EOS and macro photography. We will help you feel comfortable with what macro photography is and build a foundation of understanding to master the world of small. Learn how to become more creative with the world around you and enhance your photographic expression. You will see many examples of great photography and learn techniques to improve how you use your camera as a creative tool in the macro world. During this class you will: 

1.    Become familiar with the tools needed to approach macro photography including extension tubes, closeup lenses and specialty macro lenses. 
2.    Familiarize yourself with Live View shooting and learn how it can be used effectively when photographing small detail. 
3.    Review exposure triangle and specific requirements for photographing highly magnified subjects.
