Join Sarah for an engaging iPhoneography class where her aim is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to confidently capture, edit, and share high-quality photos using their iPhone.
In this 120-minute class, you'll dive into the essential features of your iPhone camera, including the Camera interface, shooting modes, lenses, and settings. Throughout the session, you'll learn how to make adjustments to your iPhone's exposure, experiment with various lenses, and explore different settings to enhance your photography. By the end of the class, you'll have a solid understanding of how to utilize your iPhone's capabilities to take stunning photos. One of the highlights of the class is the super fun photo challenge, where we put our new skills to the test by walking around the neighborhood and capturing unique shots.
This class is designed for all iPhoneography levels, ensuring everyone can benefit and have a great time. By the end, we hope you'll feel that this class was an awesome opportunity to learn how to have more fun and creativity when taking photos with your phone.
Remember to bring your iPhone to get the most out of this interactive class, and make sure the battery is fully charged.

Sarah Deragon is a self-taught professional portrait photographer residing in the Bay Area. After getting burned out at her day job, she picked up a camera in her 30s, reconnected with her creativity, and launched a business called Portraits To The People. Her passion for photography has always centered around capturing the very best version of people—focusing on portraiture that’s fun and authentic by utilizing natural light, creative locations, and some good jokes. She photographs artists and creatives, entrepreneurs and small business owners, and families. All of her services are built around telling compelling visual stories, with the majority of her work falling into not-so-corporate headshots for individuals, stellar online dating photos, cool custom stock photos for small businesses, and creative portrait sessions. Additionally, she has been teaching iPhoneography for over 10 years, sharing her expertise in capturing and editing stunning photos using just an iPhone.
