ABOUT ME:

I started with photography the same way so many others like me did…as a curious kid. I set up my first darkroom when I was twelve and started shooting with a Pentax K1000. I always loved the challenge of combining the technical with the artistic.

Since graduating from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a BFA in photography, I have shot freelance and worked in the photographic specialty retail industry for more than two decades. Teaching customers about photo equipment and helping them find the fun of photography is very rewarding.

In addition to photography, I also love cycling and good food. I’m new to the Bay area, so please feel free to suggest the best routes to ride or favorite places to eat!

MY GEAR:

I enjoy shooting landscapes and macro with the Fuji XT1 and a series of excellent X mount lenses. I still have my Olympus OM4T for film shooting.
