We believe that photography is more than just a technical skill - it is a means of expressing oneself, exploring the world, and connecting with others. Our day trips are thoughtfully planned to offer a diverse range of subjects and locations, with a focus on providing a supportive and collaborative environment that allows participants to learn from each other and grow as photographers. Led by experienced guides who are passionate about photography and the places we visit, our trips are designed to be fun, educational, and accessible to all levels of experience and skill. Our goal is to inspire and empower a community of photographers who are committed to lifelong learning and who share a love of adventure, discovery, and creative expression.

Pt. Reyes National Seashore Adventure

Just the drive to this place makes the whole Day Trip an experience to remember. Talk about a raw and wild landscape! The day started overcast with a chill in the air, but turned warmer as the sun made an appearance making for one spectacular day. Tule Elk, Great Blue Herons, Pelicans, Turkey Vultures and River Otters are just a few examples of the wildlife we observed in their natural habitat. We also took in the beauty, photographing dunes, an estuary, and many other incredible landscapes and seascapes.

Coastal Intertidal Tide Pools Adventure

This intriguing Day Trip occurred on a beautiful day along the San Mateo County coastline. There was a negative low tide which provided an abundance of foreign worlds (tide pools) to explore, in which we discovered sea stars, anemones, nudibranchs, hermit crabs, snails, urchin, fish, gumboot chiton and more. Above the water was an abundance of bird life that was actively hunting fish and interacting with one another. Needless to say, it was truly a time of discovery and fascination.
