The new ProMaster Dovetail Disk for MagSafe works directly with MagSafe-compatible phones and cases. This multi- purpose item allows you to mount an accessory to an iPhone using its MagSafe connection or to connect the phone to a tripod. Beautifully made from a solid piece of high-grade aluminum, the Dovetail Disk for MagSafe is sturdy and durable. It uses strong N52 neodymium magnets and has a soft ring on the surface to avoid scratching the phone.

To mount the disk, hold it against a MagSafe connection. Once mounted, you have access to both 1⁄4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threaded ports to attach accessories to the phone. The disk also has an integrated Dovetail (Arca-type) QR plate for connecting the phone to a compatible tripod. Alternatively, use the threaded ports to attach a tripod that isn’t compatible with Arca-type plates. (Please note: Users cannot simultaneously utilize the Dovetail connection and threaded ports.)
