The LP605 7.5' Compact Light Stand is one of the most versatile stands of its class. The stand is built of lightweight, but durable aluminum and features metal locking collars, five sections and four risers. Retractable legs fold tight to the center column to give the LP605 maximum portability. Built-in ground spikes can be used to secure the stand on semi-soft surfaces. Drive the retractable spikes into the ground on location to help keep your stand secure. If the spikes don't appeal to you, take those off! Due to its compact design, this light stand is the perfect support for lightweight lighting kits, on location or in the studio. The LP605 features a standard 5/8" top with 3/8" thread and LP605-3 3/8" to 1/4"-20 Adapter.
