It combines a compact, rangefinder-style body with a 20.4MP Micro Four Thirds sensor and an interchangeable lens mount, giving you the simplicity of an everyday camera without closing off what it might become. A built-in electronic viewfinder, five-axis stabilization, weather-resistant construction, creative profile controls, and computational photography features make this a small camera with unusually serious photographic possibilities.

Put on a compact 17mm lens and it becomes a beautifully simple 34mm-equivalent everyday camera. Choose a 25mm, a small portrait lens, or a lightweight zoom when your photography asks for something else.

This is not a miniature flagship designed to win a contest based on sensor resolution or advanced video specifications. It is a stills-centered camera built around a more interesting question: what makes photography enjoyable? Good to know: This listing is for the camera body only; a lens and memory card are required and sold separately. The IPX1 weather-resistance rating applies when the camera is paired with a compatible dust- and splash-resistant lens. The PEN records DCI 4K video at 24p and UHD 4K at up to 30p, but its video system is 8-bit and is best suited to occasional rather than advanced production work. It has a microphone input but no headphone output, one UHS-I SD card slot, and no built-in flash. The included battery can be charged inside the camera through USB-C; an external BCS-7 charger is available separately.
