The combination of 15mm coverage, with a full-frame camera, is a direct line to making the ordinary visually extraordinary, and on an APS-C size image sensor camera you get an focal length equivalent to approx. 24-48mm coverage for a very useful wide to standard-angle range.

And, STM focus drive provides responsive, quick - and exceptionally quiet - AF during still-image shooting, as well.
