Godox V1Pro Round Head Camera Flash for Sony Red Ring

Fast, flattering, and built for demanding assignments, the Godox V1Pro combines Sony TTL automation, a soft round-head light pattern, and serious endurance in a versatile on-camera flash.

The V1Pro is designed for photographers who need to move quickly without giving up control. Its 76Ws output and round flash head produce a more even, natural-looking spread of light than a conventional rectangular speedlight, making it especially useful for weddings, events, portraits, editorial work, and fast-moving location photography. The head automatically or manually zooms from 28mm to 105mm, rotates up to 330°, and tilts from -7° to 120° for direct, bounce, and directional lighting.

This Sony-compatible version supports TTL automatic exposure, manual flash, high-speed sync up to 1/8000 second, first- and second-curtain synchronization, flash exposure compensation, and multi-flash operation. A dedicated button lets you switch quickly between TTL and Manual modes when the situation changes.

Bounce and Fill from One Flash

The included SU-1 detachable sub-flash gives the V1Pro one of its most useful advantages. Aim the main head toward a ceiling or wall for soft bounced light, then use the smaller forward-facing flash to return a controlled amount of illumination to the subject.

That combination can add catchlights, open facial shadows, and prevent bounced portraits from looking flat—all without mounting a second flash. Remove the SU-1 when you want a lighter, more streamlined setup.

Built for Long, Fast Shoots

Godox redesigned the flash-head structure and thermal performance so the V1Pro can deliver up to 100 consecutive full-power flashes before thermal protection engages. That added endurance is particularly valuable during ceremonies, receptions, performances, and other moments where the action will not wait for a flash to cool down.

The included 2980mAh lithium-ion battery provides approximately 500 full-power flashes and recycles in about 1.3 seconds. The battery can be charged through USB-C or with the included VC26 charger, while a dedicated external power connection supports the optional Godox PB960 power pack for even more demanding assignments.

On Camera or Across a Complete Lighting System

The V1Pro can operate as both a transmitter and receiver within the Godox 2.4GHz X wireless system. It can control compatible Godox flashes from the camera or work off camera with an appropriate Godox X-system transmitter, with a rated wireless range of approximately 100 meters and 32 available channels.

A built-in 2W LED modeling lamp offers ten brightness levels, helping you preview the direction of the light, locate reflections, and refine a setup before making the exposure.
