HARMAN Switch Azure 125 Color Negative Film

120 Format, Single Roll

A creative color film that turns the familiar into something unexpected.

HARMAN Switch Azure is an ISO 125 color negative film designed to deliberately rearrange the colors in front of your camera. Blues can become orange, bright yellows can shift to vivid azure, and reds can appear purple or blue. Skies, landscapes, architecture, still lifes, and portraits all take on a surreal new palette.

Made in 120 format for medium-format cameras, Switch Azure combines its dramatic color transformations with the detail and tonal character of a larger negative. It uses standard C-41 processing and performs best when exposed at EI 125 in daylight.

Scanning Note

Switch Azure does not have the conventional orange mask found on most color negative films. Scanner model, software, and operator choices can therefore make a substantial difference in the final palette, contrast, and white balance. Variation is part of the film’s creative character.

The Looking Glass Take

This is not a film for accurate color or dependable skin tones. It is for photographers who want the film itself to participate in the image-making process.

Switch Azure is particularly interesting for colorful architecture, landscapes, flowers, still lifes, fashion, and portraits where surreal color is welcome. Medium format gives those unusual colors plenty of room to show their texture and detail. Meter carefully at EI 125, bring it into good light, and expect the scan to surprise you.
