Kodak EKTACHROME 100D 7294 brings the unmistakable look of color reversal film to 16mm filmmaking. Rather than producing a negative, EKTACHROME creates a color-positive original that can be projected or scanned, giving your footage a beautifully direct, distinctly analog character.
Daylight-balanced at ISO 100, EKTACHROME 100D is known for its exceptionally fine grain, outstanding sharpness, rich color, dense blacks, and clean, natural skin tones. Its moderately enhanced saturation gives landscapes, documentaries, music films, fashion work, and experimental projects a vivid presence without pushing colors into the unnatural.
This 100-foot roll comes on a daylight-loading camera spool and is single-perforated with Winding B. It is designed for daylight or other 5500K illumination and is processed using the E-6 color reversal process.
Please note that reversal film has less exposure latitude than color negative film, so careful metering is recommended. When exposed well, the reward is the luminous color and crisp, projected-film quality that has made EKTACHROME a favorite of generations of filmmakers.
