The Nikon TA-N100 Tripod Adapter for 1 J1 & 1 V1 Digital Cameras is a spacer that's useful when you've outfitted your J1 or V1 mirrorless camera with a larger lens and you're mounting it on a tripod head. These cameras are so tiny that the diameter of a large lens will often extend past the camera bottom. The TA-N100 puts space between the lens and the head, ensuring that the two won't make awkward contact.
The TA-N100 adapter features a standard 1/4"-20 screw for attaching to the tripod mount of the Nikon 1 J1 or 1 V1. This extends and retracts easily via the thumb dial.
